The Chateau is done – Brief Post

I just finished the Chateau tonight. I’ve been a bit under the weather with a GI bug which slowed me down some. I am better now, but still having difficulty eating and if you know me, that is a major problem. I am very good at eating as a general rule.

I just took a few quick pictures and this is the best of the bunch. Tomorrow a friend of mine who is a good photographer is going to take some photos of my houses to make a portfolio that I can send out. Glue is still drying. I need to reinforce the front gate because it doesn’t adhere well to the posts.

I really like this house. It is a very different design for me with my first turrets, the witch weather vane, the tall twin chimneys, the cornerstones (quoins).

I’ll get some better photos tomorrow with better lighting. Thank you for reading.

Oh Lucy it looks great! I love the base and the fence. Looks like you made a stone walkway?? I think this is my favorite of your houses so far. Sorry you've been under the weather – glad you are feeling better.
