How do you get the files from the Paper Glitter Glue Library?

Well, I am going to show you how.

I know this can be kind of confusing so I will try to make it very clear on how to use the password-protected library.

Subscribe to get the password first

The initial step is always to subscribe to my newsletter. Here's a subscription form. Just add your name and your email address to subscribe.

Get your free Christmas Village House Now!

Subscribe to get my newsletter by email with access to the pattern in the library. Once you subscribe, I will send you a newsletter every one to two weeks with details about my new patterns and tips and printables.

Success! Now check your email to confirm your subscription. The password to the paperglitterglue library is housekey Please know that I will never send you any spam and I will not share your email with anyone else. You will receive my newsletter every 1-2 weeks. Also you may unsubscribe at any time.

There was an error submitting your subscription. Please try again.

But first I’d like to explain why I set the library up this way. Mainly I use a password-protected library for 2 reasons  - to protect my files and as an incentive to join my email list.

You are always welcome to unsubscribe if you don’t want to hear from me. It doesn’t really hurt my feelings. Well, maybe just a little tiny bit. But I do not want you to get emails that you are not interested in.

Here are the 4 steps to download a file after subscribing:

  1. First, click on the library link within the post or at the top of the blog underneath the Paper Glitter Glue logo.
  2. Next, click on the big orange button in the About Library page to go to the page where you add the password.
  3. Type in the password that you get when you subscribe to my newsletter. It's in every newsletter. This page takes you to the actual library page itself.
  4. All the files are numbered and listed chronologically with the most recent file first.

Next, below are the same instructions with photos so you will know what everything looks like. You can't click the links on the photos though. You have to go to the library to do that.

1. First click the Paper Glitter Glue Library link on the post or at the top of the blog underneath the name.

Here's a photo to show you what it looks like:

2. This will take you to the About the Library Page which looks like this photo:

Click the big orange button on the About the Library page to get to the password page. BUT remember this is a PHOTO of the library, not the library itself so you these aren't real links. You have to go the About the library page to get the real button.

3. The next page that you automatically go to is the password page.

And here is how the password page looks. Remember just a photo.

Type in the password I've given you with no capital letters or punctuation - just the password as one word.

4. And after that you will see a list of all the files listed by number and the year with the most recent files first.

Again, these are not clickable links, just a photo to show you how to get to the files in the library.

Library page after password.

The page continues to the listing of projects numbered and listed in chronological order.

Almost all my files are saved in a zip folder. That is mostly for security, but also because SVG files (the files for the automatic cutting machines like a Cricut or a Silhouette) have coding in them so that the only way you can share them is in a zipped format.

That is basically it.

5. To Search the Library Page, use Control + F or Command + F

The only other thing to add is that if you want to search for a specific thing on the library page, type Control + F (on a Microsoft computer) or Command + F (on a Mac). That way you search only that one page, not my entire website.

Let me know if you have any problems. You can email me at [email protected]. I am pretty good at getting back to you fairly quickly.

And here is the Paper Glitter Glue library link so you can download my fun files and start crafting.

Roxanne, I am so glad you like my projects. You will do very well because you already think miniature. And scale (which I am not good at).

Thank you so much for the kinds words. Lucy
