Here are a few photos of the Tudor house completed on its snowy base.
I designed and picked the colors of this house so I could add a yellow lab figure on the base, but when the house was done I realized that Josie the dog would look too overwhelming next to the little Tudor house. So I used a little deer instead. The deer is still big relative to the house - notice how the fawn is taller than the door. I'm not a miniaturist interested in maintaining a perfect scale, so it's ok to me. The bird is quite large as well.
Side view of the Tudor house. I kind of like the wall around the building. I should have made it slightly shorter though so the windows would show a little better on the sides.
This view shows the shingles much better. I am very happy with the shingles on the house.
I hope to do my next house step by step on the blog so you can some of what is involved in making a little house (assuming there is some interest in that).
Update: I have a free pattern for this house that you can find in the Paper Glitter Glue Library. You can read more about the pattern in this Irish Cottage post.
Thank you for reading. I hope everyone is doing well. We're having another rainy spell in the South, but this one is only supposed to be 3 days long rather than 2 weeks. We are grateful for that. Take care.

Could I please have the directions for the
Tudor house with the cardinal on the
Tree outside.
Thank you

Terry,
You can get the pattern for a very similar house called the Christmas Village house. Also I included a variation in my book - Create 12 Simply Super Miniature Houses. The book is available in the shop. And to get any patterns from library, just subscribe to my newsletter and you will get the password right away.
If you have any other questions, email me at [email protected].

I signed up for the newsletter and got a password, I want to make the half timbered house, where do I go for the pattern, I am confused....thank you for the help.
Lucy
Sally, I know the library thing can be a little confusing. There is the link on the main library page that will take you to the page where you type in the password. I just made some changes on the page so that link in the middle of the page is easier to find.
So the main library page is like a doorway to the password protected page. See if that makes sense. If not, then email me at [email protected]
Then once you are on the password protected page, you will find a list of all the patterns. The Tudor house is based on the Irish Cottage. I just recently re-did that pattern so there would be an SVG version so the pattern is near the top of the page. (I list them most recent first so this one is close to the top right now.)

Thank you, Sara.

Love it!
