Halloween Village for 2017

Angled view of the Halloween Paper Houses for the Habitat for Humanity Fundraiser

It's difficult to take a photo of the entire Halloween Village (with my photographic skills anyway). So here's a panoramic view from my iPad.

Finally, it's done. The Halloween houses to be sold for Habitat for Humanity 2017 are done. That doesn't mean I'm completely done with making Halloween Houses for this year - it just means all the Halloween houses for sale for this fundraiser have been completed. I am so tickled about how they have turned out.
Videos of the Halloween Village - Lights Off and Lights On
I'm going to try to post a couple of videos so you can see the whole village together - one without lights and one with 48 flickering LED lights on.
Sectional Photos of the Halloween Village
Here are sectional photos of the entire village with links to the individual houses:

This view shows the Hip Roofed Farmhouse in the left front, the Count's Keep bat wing house to the right and back, the Haunted Bungalow way in the back, Raven's Crest Clock House on the wall and the Abandoned Italianate Mansion with the Slate House on the right front.

Some of the most popular houses are visible here - the Slate house in the front, the Count's Keep bat wing house, the Abandoned Italianate Mansion, and the Sea Worn Beach house in the back. The purple Tower House is to the right of the Sea Worn Beach house.

Some of my very favorite houses on this photo. In front center is a good view of the Stone House, on the left is a glimpse of the Chateau, behind the Stone House are the Sea Worn Beach house and the Tower House again.

Old Book House on a Happy Halloween book, purple Tower house, another bat wing house called the Count Awaits, Haunted Holtzville #2, and Gothic Halloween house on the row behind from left to right.

Tiny Halloween House in a Jar, the Count Awaits bat wing house, Haunted Holtzville #2, and Gothic Halloween House in the back. On the right is the Shimmer and Shine Halloween Manor.

Haunted Holtzville Manor is the green house on the left. Behind the green house is Boxwood Manor in a book, Tree Guardians in the front and a house with no name behind it.

The red house in the front is Haunted Holtzville #1, Tree Guardians behind it. You can see the roof of the no name house behind the Tree Guardians. In the very back on the right is the Stone Stenciled Clock House with a glimpse of the Bluestone Creek in front of that house. The green Haunted Holtzville Manor is in the back on the left.

Here you see the Witch's Lair with a witch in front (kind of a pitiful witch, really), Bluestone Creek House in the back, more of the no name house back there as well.

Anne,
Thank you so much. You know I love to make these little houses so I had to think of a way to make them useful - by selling them for a good cause. I always appreciate your kind comments.

What a cool idea and funraiser! Spooky should sell well because so many love Halloween. I would think that each year a person could add to their town to build their scary homes. You did a fantastic job on all this for a fundraiser. SUPER talent and patience. Love to just look at the many details. Just excellent details, colors and looks. I hope Tim Holtz contacts you! He really needs to see what you have done with his products. Sensational display.

This is seriously fabulous. What an amazing village. The details in each and every house are perfection! Hope you sell them all....although I'd be sad to see them go. I have a little fantasy to have our entire living room 3d paper houses, with a long path up a hill with the Halloween village atop. This so inspired me. (I'm sure my husband wouldn't go for converting an entire room.) ha ha ha! Anyway, Lovely job!!!

Merci! I am glad you enjoyed the village. Soon I have to start working on this year's village. It takes me all year to construct a village of this size.
